Good news for Barcelona before El Clasico

Barcelona received a boost today as midfielder Pedri returned to training with the team, although he did not finish the session with his teammates. It is expected that Pedri could be ready for the El Clasico match under coach Xavi against Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Pedri sustained an injury during the first leg of the European League final against Manchester United and has not played since. He suffered a right thigh rupture, which has now healed, but his participation in the El Clasico is still uncertain.

Before the crucial match, Barça will have two more training sessions to evaluate Pedri's progress. With his return, Osman Dembele will be the only player missing from Barcelona's squad in the El Clasico, as Robert Lewandowski has already recovered and played against Athletic Bilbao at San Mamis.

Currently, Barcelona holds a 9-point lead over defending champion Real Madrid, who are in second place.
